The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
First:
-There is a chip to one ear.
-There is a small loss to the glaze below one ear.
-There are small areas of misfiring.
-There is expected wear to the foot.
Second:
-There are minor losses to the glaze.
-There are pinprick holes.
-There is a glaze chip to one side of the lower body.
Third:
-There are hairlines on the interior with associated losses to the glaze.
-There are areas of misfiring.
-There are cracks on the base with associated losses to the glaze and overpainting.
-There are nicks to the foot.
