The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
First:
-There is a small loss of the finial on one peak.
-There is expected wear to the glazes.
-There is a small hole above the flower decoration.
-There are a few firing flaws.
Second:
-There is a long crack to the glaze on the neck.
-There is a firing crack on the back.
-There are expected losses to the glazes.
-There are a few minor nicks to the toes
-There is one hole to the base.
-There are surface cracks on the base.
Third:
-There are expected wear and minor losses to the glazes.
-There are two chips to the foot.
- areas of overpainting and touch up to the floral decoration
