The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
First:
-glaze degradation
-wear to the mouth rim
-a few kiln grit adhesions on the interior and the exterior
-losses to glaze on the four handles
-a few minor nicks to the foot rim
-TL test drill hole on the base
-""C-117"" and a few Chinese characters have been inscribed on the base
Second:
-a few minor nicks to the mouth rim and the surface
-remnent of pigments on the base
-expected surface scratches
Third:
- areas of restoration to the foot
-a few chips to the mouth rim
-a few firing flaws on the collar and the rim
-a small areas of loss to the glaze on the interior
-two kiln grit adhesions on the foot rim
-nicks and wear the foot
