Details
The first is a greyish-green jade plaque carved with two cat fish. The second is a greyish-green jade belt buckle carved in relief with a Buddhist lion grasping a brocade ball with its young on its back, now with a metal mount as a clip. Third is a reticulated white jade plaque carved in openwork with two characters reading ji xiang (good fortune)in the center, now with a metal mount as a brooch. The fourth is a white jade plaque carved with a butterfly on one side and a bat grasping a peach branch on the reverse. Fifth is a rectangular jade plaque carved in openwork with a xi character (happiness) in the center, now with a metal mount as a clip. Last is a white jade plaque carved in openwork with a bird, lotus blossom and lotus root.
First: 2 5/8 in. (6.7 cm.) wide
Second: 3 1/2 in. (8.9 cm.) wide
Third: 2 1/4 in. (5.7 cm.) diam.
Fourth: 3 3/8 in. (8.6 cm.) wide
Fifth: 2 5/8 in. (6.7 cm.) wide
Sixth: 3 in. (7.6 cm.) diam.
