Details
The recumbent horned buffalo is carved with its legs tucked beneath the body and with its head turned to one side. The stone is of a pale greyish-green tone with lighter and darker russet inclusions.

Provenance
Acquired in Hong Kong in the 1950s or prior, and thence by descent within the family.
