The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

We have sought to record changes in the condition of these pieces acquired after their initial manufacture.

First:
-There are a few minute nicks to the edges.
-There are two perforated holes to the finial.
-There is light surface wear to the finial
-There is remnant of seal paste to the seal face.

Second:
-There are a few minute nicks to the edges and light surface wear.
-There are a few knocks to the finial and two sides of the seal.
-There is a fissure extending from the base to the lower part of the seal.
-There is remnant of seal paste to the seal face.

Third:
-There are a few nicks to the edges and extremities.
-There is a crack to one corner of the seal.
-There is light surface wear.
-There is remnant of seal paste to the seal face.

Fourth:
-There are a few minute nicks to the edges and extremities.
-There is a small knock to one side of the seal.
-There is remnant of seal paste to the seal face.
