Details
The jar is carved in relief with dragons striding amidst clouds and flames, chasing a flaming pearl, above a band of wave pattern and below a ruyi border on the shoulder. The globular body is covered inside and out with a pale blue glaze. The base has an apocryphal Qianlong mark.
14 1/2 in. (37 cm.) diam.
