Details
The vase is of flattened form, carved in low relief to each side with a central taotie motif between two bands of stylized plantain leaves. The handles are carved in the form of elephant heads and the cover is decorated with a lappet band. The stone is of a pale greenish-white tone, with a few minor pale mottled inclusions.
