The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

We have sought to record the changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
Tripod censer:
-There are few casting flaws to the mouth rim.
-One foot has been off and re-stuck to the censor with associated restoration.
-There are two small indentations to two feet, which probably are from casting.
-There are surface scratches; "B43" has been inscribed in red ink to the base.
The other censer:
-There is wear to the surface with minute nicks to the edges, particularly to one corner of the mouth.
-There are a few small areas of minor touch-up.
