The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
First:
- There are small burst glaze bubbles to mouth rim.
- There are kiln grit adhesions near the base and to the foot.
- There are glaze gaps to the base.
Second:
- The vase appears to be in overall good condition with a few short glaze gaps to the base.
Third:
- There is a chip to foot rim.
Fourth:
- The base possibly has been polished.
Fifth:
- There are chips to mouth rim.
- There is kiln grit adhesion near the base.
