The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
Vase with prunus:
- There is one star crack and another hairline crack extending from the mouth rim down the neck, visible on both sides.
- There is minor fritting to the mouth rim.
- There are burst glaze bubbles to the base.
- There is general wear to the foot.
- The cover is loss.

Vase with peony:
- There is general wear to the mouth rim.
- The mouth rim has a short hairline crack, visible on both sides, and another small crack, visible on the interior only.
- There are a few scattered burst glaze bubbles.
- There is general wear to the foot.
- The cover is loss.
