The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
First rock crystal seal:
- There are small nicks and chips to the rims.
- There are light surface abrasion and minor nicks to the finial.

Second rock crystal seal:
- There are chips and knocks to the edges and extremities, some of which have been polished.

Third amber seal:
- There are one chip and a few bruises.
- There is a fine crack to the peach.

Fourth white-glazed porcelain seal:
- There are chips, some of which have been polished.
- The mythical beast finial had been off and reattached.
