The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
First rectangular jade seal:
- There are some minute nicks to the edges and extremities, some of which have been polished.
- There is a crack along one side of the seal face.
- There are natural fissures to the stone.

Second flattened soapstone seal:
- There are chips to the edges and corners, some of which have been polished.
- There are stained cracks.

Third jade seal:
- There is an area of imperfection to the stone.
