Details
The 'squirrel and grapes' carving depicts a squirrel upon a leafy grape vine, the stone of an exceptionally even white tone with a small area of russet skin to the leaf. The finial is carved and pierced to depict cranes amongst a network of lotus stems, the stone is of a pale celadon tone with some minor light brownish inclusions.
The largest, 2⅜ in. (6 cm.) long
