A CLOISONNÉ ENAMEL 'PRUNUS AND BIRD' BOWL
MING DYNASTY, 16TH-17TH CENTURY
The bowl is decorated to the exterior with birds perched on sprays of prunus and to the interior with a central stylised flower head surrounded by further floral roundels and flowers, all below scrolling foliate borders to the mouth rim.
7¼ in. (18.3 cm.) diam.
