A GLAZED POTTERY FIGURE OF ZHENWU
MING DYNASTY (1368-1644)
The Daoist deity zhenwu (Dark Warrior) is represented seated on his throne with his attributes, the sword and the mythical snake and turtle. The figure is glazed in aubergine, blue and green.
