A LARGE BLUE AND WHITE FIGURAL BOWL
KANGXI PERIOD (1662-1722)
The bowl is decorated to the exterior with a continuous scene of ladies in a pavilion, beside a pine tree, observing an official and his attendants. The interior is painted with a central roundel enclosing a lone figure seated on a rock, with the moon in the distance.
11⅜ in. (29 cm.) diam.
