A PALE GREENISH-WHITE JADE ARCHAISTIC CENSER
QING DYNASTY (1644-1911)
The censer is raised on a short ring foot and is carved on each side with a panel enclosing a stylized taotie mask against a leiwen ground. The pair of handles are surmounted by animal masks. The stone is of pale greenish-white tone with fine brown markings throughout.
