We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.

- Areas of the gilt lacquered surface have rubbed away over time, as expected.
- There are a few minor knocks to the extremities, as expected with age.
- The lotus base is possibly later matched to the figure.
