The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
- A section of the rim and neck have been restored with associated overpainting to the interior and exterior.
- There is a further small bruise to the rim (approx. 0.3 cm.)
- There are some fine hairline cracks and glaze crackles to the base, the foot, and to the walls of the vase.
- There is a bruise to one edge (approx. 1.5 cm. wide).
- There are a few small burst glaze bubbles, a few tiny chips to the edges and foot, and some surface wear consistent with age.
