The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
We have sought to record changes in the condition of these pieces acquired after their initial manufacture.
The first:
- There are scratches and wear to the top of the mouth and foot rim, as expected.
- There is no spoon.
The second:
- There is a casting gap to the foot.
- There is a stopper with screw fitting and metal spoon.
The third:
- There are scratches and wear to the top of the mouth, as expected.
- There is a minute chip or casting flaw to the foot.
- There is a very minute flake to the gilding on the side of the foot.
- There is a metal spoon.
