The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.

The bowl:
- The mouth rim has been lightly ground.
- There are tiny chips to the foot.
- The diameter is 17.8 cm.

The stand:
- There are small chips to the edges and some of the corners of the feet have been polished.
- This piece is associated with the bowl.
- The diameter is 12.5 cm.

The gu vase:
- There are deep veins to the stone with associated chips to the rim, some of the veins are stabilised.
- One corner of the mouth rim has been replaced (approx. 3 cm. wide).
- There are chips to the edges.
- The gu vase is 18.7 cm. high.

The vase and cover:
- There is a tiny chip to one of the elephant's right ears (approx. 0.1 cm.)
- The tip of the tusk of the same elephant is slightly polished.
- The overall height is 24 cm. high.
