YONGZHENG PERIOD (1723-1735), DATED TO 1726 AND OF THE PERIOD

The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
- The front section has been remounted and is missing the front scroll end.
- There are various tears, frays, and creases all consistent with age.
- There are stains throughout and foxing to the paper sections as visible in the images.
- The central section of the edict has lost its edging.
- There are losses to the backing paper.
- There is fading to the exterior brocade.
- The end section has been remounted, and there is a half inscription in ink and half of a seal mark.
- There are no scroll ends.
