The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

We have sought to record changes in the condition of these pieces acquired after their initial manufacture.

One vase:
- There are two bruises to the rim (the larger approx. 2 cm. wide), each with an associated hairline crack (the longer approx. 3.5 cm.)
- There is a very fine star crack to the interior (approx. 2 cm. long).
- There are small chips to the foot.

The other vase:
- There are tiny chips to the foot.

One cover:
- There is a small bruise to the rim associated with a firing flaw original to manufacture.

The other cover:
- There are two small frits to the finial.
