Details
The cover is decorated in qiangjin and tianqi with a cartouche enclosing a pair of five-clawed dragons contesting a flaming pearl amongst lotus scrolls, surrounded by auspicious emblems, all on a dense diaper ochre ground. The sides are decorated with bands of peonies growing on leafy scrolling foliage. The interior and base are lacquered dark brown.
