The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
- There are four tiny holes to the bronze below the lotus base.
- There is a fine crack to the reverse of the base (approx. 1 cm. long), and a further fine crack to the back of the neck.
- There are three thin areas of possible silvered repair to the base edge.
- There are minor dents and surface wear.
- The baseplate has been reaffixed.
