The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

We have sought to record changes in the condition of these pieces acquired after their initial manufacture.
The larger censer:
- There are a pair of tiny protrusions to the lower body with fine associated cracks to the bronze (each approx. 0.2 cm. diam.).
The smaller censer:
- There is a fine L-shaped crack to the lower body (approx. 2.5 cm. long).
- The diameter is 14.8 cm across the handles.
Both pieces:
- There are minor dents and scratches consistent with age.
