The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
We have sought to record changes in the condition of these pieces acquired after their initial manufacture.
The first:
- There is very minor wear and a few pits to the enamel.
- There is a small, shallow flake on one short side above the foot.
- There are some minor scratches to surface.
- There is a metal spoon.
The second:
- There is loss to the red lacquer on the top of the mouth.
- There is minor scratching and wear to the porcelain panels.
- The foot is overpainted, with minor cracks in the lacquer on the interior of the foot.
- There is a minute nick to the flat band above the foot.
- There is a metal spoon.
