The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
We have sought to record the changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
Paradise flycatcher badges:
- both are in overall good condition, with some minor areas of fading and a few minute splits
Crane badge:
- some losses down the central seam and minor losses to the edges
- very minor fading overall, particularly to the red pigment
Mandarin duck badge:
- overall good condition
