The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
One figure and horse:
- a few restored breaks including to the figure’s waist and the horse’ neck and possibly the legs
- restoration to the proper left hand
The other:
- a few restored breaks including to the horse’s neck and legs
- fill to the proper left hind hoof
Both figures:
- the glazed areas appear to be covered with a transparent coating
- a chip to the horse’s tail and other chips to extremities
