The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.

- a hairline to the base which is visible from the inside under UV inspection
the other:
- one fine crack measuring 10 ½ in. (26.7 cm.) extends from the body to the foot, and another hairline and star crack to the body visible on the inside under UV inspection
both vases:
- expected rubbing to the gilt and enamels
