The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.

- two feet with a small area of polishing which could be original to manufacture

- with a repaired chip, a few associated consolidated cracks, and another small area of fill to the mouth

- small nicks and bruises to the mouth rims
- natural fissures, inclusions and mottling in the stone which are inherent to the material
