The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its manufacture.
Green bowl:
- a few shallow chips and nicks to the foot which are most likely original to manufacture
- network of glaze lines which are typical for works of this type, some of which are difficult to determine if they are hairlines
- a small knock and some surface scratches to the body
Blue vase:
- the foot is slightly misshapen and there are two shallow chips and minute nicks to the foot rim
- a few glaze gaps to the interior below the mouth
