The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
small white jar:
- a shallow small glaze chip below the mouth
- a few minute nicks to the foot
small Ding-type bowl:
- appears to be in overall good condition
- two small glaze gaps to the mouth rim- part of the foot might have been slightly buffed
brown glazed cup:
- a hairline measuring approx. ¾ in. (2 cm.) extends from the mouth rim
- a small knock and a glaze gap below the mouth on the exterior
- a long glaze line as well as a network of glaze lines to the interior
joss stick holder:
- a minute nicks to two bosses near the mouth
- a few minute nicks to the foot
- minor chips to the aperture at the center
