Details
The robe is of rectangular form with a central opening at the front. The two front panels are decorated at the bottom with phoenix above crashing waves beside one of the Eight Trigrams, with a red-ground collar detailed with a gilt inscription surrounded by bats and clouds. The back is decorated with a central pagoda encircled by shaped panels enclosing gilt dragons, all surrounded by shou characters and peony sprays, above a pair of dragons confronting flaming pearls amongst further trigrams.
