Details
The bowl is decorated with four medallions containing flower sprays including peach, pomegranate and peony in reserve on a ruby-red ground finely incised with scrolling tendrils and further embellished with lotus sprays. The interior is decorated to the centre with a basket of flowers, with further flower sprays to the cavetto.
578 in. (14.9 cm.) diam.
Provenance
Private Southeast Asian Collection, acquired by the vendor's grandfather in the first half of the 20th century and thence by descent within the family.
