The group comprises four pewter teapots, including one with jadeite inset to the overarching handle, one in the form of a peach supported on four short feet, one incised with floral patterns to the exterior and stamped with a Xu Wanxie zao (made by Xu Wanxie) mark to the base, and one in the form of a double-gourd which has a two-part body and a detachable circlar base with a Ju Sheng dian tong maker's mark to the underside; four Yixing pewter-encased teapots, including a rounded one inset with a jade handle and cover finial and inscribed to the sides with poetic inscriptions, a lobed one with a jade handle, spout and cover finial which is inscribed to one side with a poetic inscription and flowering branches to the reverse, a smaller lobed one with an overarching handle detailed with floral designs to the sides and stamped with a Guang Ming Zhi Ji maker's mark to the base, and an oval one inset with white and spinach green jades and decorated with a poetic inscription to one side and a floral branch to the reverse; and a wooden-encased pewter teapot with an overarching handle.
