Details
The vase is decorated to the body with a lively scene of warriors brandishing auspicious objects, incuding a ruyi sceptre, a piece of coral, a pagoda and a cash symbol. The reverse is painted with a poetic inscription, ending with apocryphal Qianlong seals. The neck is delicately embellished with bands of ruyi heads, keyfret and stiff leaves, and is flanked by a pair of 'makara' handles with loose rings. There is an apocryphal Qianlong mark to the base.
