The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
-These are in overall fairly good condition for their age.
-There is some minor age-related surface wear, light scratches and rubbing to the gilt decoration on each dish, as can be expected.
One dish:
-There is a chip to the interior of the of the foot rim, measuring approx. 3 cm. wide.
The other dish:
-There is a minute nick to the mouth rim.
