Each vase is very similarly gilded to the body with prunus and bamboo branches on a powder-blue ground, all below a band of stylized chrysanthemum blossoms reserved on a geometric ground to the shoulder. The reverse of each vase is inscribed in Cyrillic and one vase with Gatchina Palace label with inventory number '11839'. With similarly decorated covers.
