The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
We have sought to record changes in the condition of these pieces acquired after their initial manufacture.
All:
-There are minute nicks to the edges and raised decoration.
-There are fissures and inclusions in stone, which are inherent to the material.
First:
-There is a short cut mark and a short shallow crack to the underside.
-There is remnant of red ink on the underside.
Third:
-There are a few minor short cracks to the surface, and a few stained chips.
-There is an uneven area to the underside.
Fourth:
-There is a shallow chip to one edge.
-There is remnant of old adhesive on the underside.
