Lot Essay
Li Yuemin (1907-1992), a native of Shijiazhuang of Hebei province, served in the National Committee of Henan province. He was also a member of the Federation of Literature and Art of Henan Province, a member of the China Calligraphy Association, and Vice President of the Henan branch of the Calligraphy Association. He began practicing calligraphy with regular script and later became known for his cursive script.

There are large creases and wrinkles throughout for both scrolls. The left scroll: it has significant water stains in the upper half. There is a brown water stain close to the center of bottom right of the scroll. The right scroll: it has some water staining in the upper half. There is an unrepaired tear on the top righ corner. Otherwise, it is in our opinion that this painting is in overall fair condition.
