Lot Essay

Sun Qifeng (1920-), a native of Zhaoyuan, Shandong province, is a professor emeritus at Tianjin Academy of Fine Arts and a member of the China Artists Association. Since 1956, he has frequently held solo exhibitions in major cities such as Beijing, Tianjin, and Nanjing. His works have also been shown at the Salon Exhibition in Paris, France. In 2013, he was awarded the Chinese Fine Art Lifetime Achievement Prize.
