Lot Essay
Sun Qifeng (1920-), a native of Zhaoyuan, Shandong province, is a emeritus professor at Tianjin Academy of Fine Arts and a member of China Artists Association. Since 1956, he has frequently held solo exhibitions in major cities like Beijing, Tianjin, and Nanjing. His works have also been exhibited at Salon Exhibition in Paris, France. In 2013, he was awarded the “Chinese Fine Art Lifetime Achievement” Prize.
