Details
The first, an amethyst bottle, 18th-19th century, is carved with a chilong clambering on each narrow side; the second, a green fluorspar bottle, 20th century, is carved with a blossoming magnolia branch around the body; the third, a blue chalcedony bottle, late 19th-20th century, is carved with a blossoming magnolia branch around the body; the fourth and fifth, a pair of blue-enameled bottles, late 19th-20th century, are incised with flowering branches and covered overall with blue enamels of turquoise tone.
178 in. (4.7 cm.) high, hardstone stopper; 214 in. (5.7 cm.) high, green fluorspar stopper; 2 in. (5 cm.) high, glass stopper; 3 in. (7.6 cm.) and 3 in. (7.6 cm.) high, blue-enameled metal stoppers
