We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its manufacture.
Cover:
-the neck of the bird on the finial has been off and restuck
-there is glaze degradation
-the rim of the cover has been restored, with associated over painting
Vase:
-one area of the mouth rim and two loops have been restored, with associated over painting
-the neck has been off and restuck, with associated over painting
-a few chips and a few areas of restoration to the relief of decoration
-an area of restoration to the foot rim
