The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its manufacture.
-the head has been off and restful with associated over painting
-overpainted areas through out the glazes, most notably to the shoulder and the back, which possibly concealing further restoration
-a minor break extending from the base to the lower section of the robe
-a few chips and nicks to the edges and extremities
