The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
- There is a small chip to the edge of one finger on the figure's right hand, and to his left ear.
- There are some traces of gilt remaining, but most of the gilding is now missing.
- The base plate is now missing.
- There are some dents to the base and a few small dents to the body, which are consistent with age and use.
