A LARGE DEHUA STANDING FIGURE OF GUANYIN
The bodhisattva is shown standing in a graceful pose on a base of swirling waves with her body gently swayed to one side as she turns her head away. Her long and layered robes fall in graceful folds to the top of one bare foot and is open at the chest where a beaded ruyi necklace is visible. The back is inscribed with Dehua in a double gourd, and another illegible mark in a square. The glaze is of creamy ivory color.
