A PAINTED RED LACQUER BOX AND COVER
18TH CENTURY
The box and cover are of flower form with each petal decorated with composite flowers and birds. The sides are decorated with lotus sprays and a ruyi-head band. There are nine conforming black lacquer trays fitted within the interior.
